My sweet Mason

Being Mason's mommy is the BEST job ever. I absolutely love it. He's now 8 weeks old and is a chunky baby!! He still eats every 2 1/2 to 3 hours, so that hasn't changed yet this month. He has started to go 4 hours in between one or two feedings a day which has been nice. I'm not going to stress about it though...I've considered doing different sleeping techniques, but in the end I just don't feel comfortable doing them. I don't mind feeding him that often especially if he needs it. The doctor said that because he's such a big boy, that he just needs to eat that often. So for now, we're just going with the flow and I'm simply listening to what feels right and what he wants/needs.

Next week we have his two month appointment and I think he has to get a couple of shots. I'm super nervous about it cause he gets so upset, and then I want to cry! Other than that, I'm looking forward to seeing what percentile he's in and what the doctor says about how he's doing.

As for me, I feel pretty much back to normal. I mean, my stomach still has a layer of fat that is SLOWLY going away, but I'm sure that'll take a while to completely be gone (if it does at all!!) I still have about 8 more pounds to lose, but I'm not too concerned about that. After gaining 38 pounds, having to lose just 8 pounds does not seem so bad.

I love my daddy! Mason is such a cuddle bug. He loves to just lay on me, or whoever is holding him. It's so adorable!

Last week, my mom and I met my Aunt Bonnie for lunch. She took a really nice picture of me and my little man.

He wore this on one of the days my mom came to visit. He loves his Grandma!!

Mark's parents and aunt came to visit  a couple of weeks ago. Here is Grams and Mason just being sweet with each other. We can't wait to have Grams and Papa visit again soon!

Looking forward to another month of new things!! However, I'm not looking forward to going back to work in November :( I know that I have to and that I'm doing it for my family, but it's sure going to be hard to be away from Mason for 8 hours a day!
